Growing locks is one of the most sacred tasks that can be taken to show dedication to God, culture and upliftment. In ancient times, locks were recognized as sacred. In fact the term for 'locks' in ancient Egyptian is 'nebt' or 'crown.' From that word comes 'napt' or 'nappy' (GET THIS CLOSE FOLKS).
The sacred Orders of priests, warriors and teachers who wore 'dreadlocks' were a special class of people who dedicated their lives to positivity and development of their societies.
One such group from biblical times were called the 'Net-zurim' (the Nazarine), and it was from that group of peope that 'YESHUA- THE ANNOINTED ONE' (ALSO KNOW AS 'JESUS' ) came from. The Nazarines wore their hair in locks and they dedicated their lives to maintaining the sacred way of life.
PREPARING FOR WEARING LOCKS: THE SACRED RITUAL
Wearing locks is popular among many Africans globally, BUT IN ORDER TO GET THE DIVINE AND SACRED POWER THAT COMES FROM HAVING LOCKS (MENTAL AND PHYSICAL POWER), the ritual must be followed and 'THE 42 COMMANDMENTS OF MAAT (TRUTH AND RIGHT) SHOULD BE RECITED.
1. First, before growing locks, make sure that all hair is properly cleaned and evenly cut to let hair grow evenly.
2. Use natural 'hair-locking' shampoo and wash hair once a day.
3. Use care when drying.
4. Prepare to take the sacred oath.
5. After washing hair, choose a spot in the sun (outside) and raise palms to the sun, or light a candle and raise palms over it.
6. Prepare the 42 recitations.
7. Recite all 42 lines in the 'ETHICS OF MAAT.'
By doing so, one is not just wearing 'locks' to be in style. One is dedicating himself or herself to one of the largest and most ancient SOCIETIES on earth, THE SACRED ORDER OF AUSAR (the African Order responsible for the creation of world civilization)
THE ETHICS OF MAAT
1. I shall not commit iniquity.
2. I shall not rob with violence.
3. I shall not steal. But fight for what as been stolen from me
4. I will not murder; I will do no harm. But I shall defend myself, my people and my nation with the force and ferocity needed to win my cause.
5. I shall not defraud offerings.
6. I have not diminished obligations. But I understand that if I owe, I will pay when I am able.
7. I have not plundered the Netyr (God).
8. I have not spoken lies. But I shall defend myself and my nation and people with the right words.
9. I have not snatched away food. But I shall not starve, nor commit wrongs but do what is right.
10. I have not caused pain. But I shall defend myself, family, people and nation.
11. I have not committed fornication. Nor have I mixed with enemies whose aim is distruction throug pretense of love and romance.
12. I have not caused shedding of tears.
13. I have not dealt deceitfully. But I shall not allow myself to be tricked.
14. I have not transgressed.
15. I have not acted gilefully.
16. I have not laid waste the ploughed land. But the land of my forefathers occupied by an enemy I shall free.
17. I have not been an eavesdropper. But I shall protect myself from lies, propaganda and distortions using any means necessary.
18. I have not set my lips in motion against any man. But I shall defend myself, people and nation with defensive words and language.
19. I have not been angry and wrathful except for a just cause. But I shall do what I must to preparemyself to protect mine and my interests.
20. I have not defiled the wife of any man (repeat twice), nor have I fornicated with enemies, or people who want to blend my people out of existence with tricks and false love.
21. I have not poluted myself, nor have I mixed with my former enslavers, haters and distroyers and those who conspire against me in any way.
22. I have not caused terror. But I shall defend myself, my People and my nation in the most efficient and effective manner.
23. I have not transgressed (repeat twice)
24. I have not burned with rage.
25. I have not stopped my ears against the words of Right and Truth (MAAT), nor have I rejected the ancient religions of my ancestors to follow the lies and tricks of others.
26. I have not worked grief.
27. I have not acted with insolence.
28. I have not stirred up strive.
29. I have not judged hastily.
30. I have not been an eavesdropper (repeat twice), but I have the right to stop any plots and conspiracies against me.
31. I have not been an eavesdropper
32. I have not multiplied words exceedingly.
33. I have not done neither harm nor ill.
34. I have never cursed the King.
35. I have not fouled the water.
36. I have not spoken scornfully.
37. I have not cursed God. Nor have I insulted God by having abortions, committing infanticide or refusing to have children to serve the agenda of other people.
38. I have not stolen.
39. I have not defrauded the offerings of the Netyr (God).
40. I have not plundered the offerings of the blessed dead.
41. I have not filchered the food of the infant, neither have I sinned against the Netcher (God) or guardian of my native town.
42. I have not slaughtered with evil intent the cattle of the Netyr (God).
THE 'ETHICS OF MAAT' IS ONE OF THE 'CODES OF CONDUCT' THAT ONE LIVES BY AND DEDICATES HIS OR HER LIFE TO.
There SHOULD BE THE TAKING OF THE OATH -- KEEPING IN MIND THAT THE RIGHT TO SELF-PRESERVATION, SELF-DEFENSE, THE UNITY OF THE PEOPLE, PROGRESS AND NATIONHOOD GO HAND IN HAND WITH THE SACRED, PERSONAL ETHICS OF MAAT AND THE WEARING OF THE SACRED LOCKS.
