There is no doubt that the ancient Olmecs (Mandinga-Shi) people WERE THE VERY SAME AFRICANS WHO WERE SOLD INTO SLAVERY AFTER BEING CAPTURED IN WAR IN WEST/CENTRAL AFRICA ABOUT 4,500 YEARS (1500 A.D.) AFTER THE EMPEROR MECI ESTABLISHED A KINGDOM IN MEXICO/AMERICAS.

The Afro-Olmecs were of the Mandinga People and spoke the Mande language and also used the Mande alphabet -- still used in Africa, and found in the Sahara (an old National Geographic magazine picture show this alphabet as well as the 'dot and bar' numerical system).

Hence, THE HISTORY OF AFRICAN-AMERICANS AS A NATION, IN THE US/AMERICAS AS A CULTURE AND NATIONAL GROUP BEGAN IN THE YEAR 3113 B.C.

It is absolutely inaccurate to begin the HISTORY OF AFRICANS IN THE AMERICAS with slavery and Europeans exploration - in fact, this period was the later stages of over 30,000 years of Black African presence in the Americas.

FURTHERMORE, THERE IS DOCUMENTED AND DATED EVIDENCE that the FIRST AFRICAN-AMERICAN NEGRO KINGDOMS IN AMERICA WERE CREATED IN MEXICO AND THE MISSISSIPPI/LOUISIANA REGION OVER 5,000 YEARS AGO.

Two NOTABLE AFRICANS DATED TO ABOUT 3113 B.C. ARE RECORDED AND DOCUMENTED TO HAVE SETTLED IN MESO-AMERICA.

1 Tehuti Mez said to come from the Cush-Khemet region and WHO INTRODICED THE SOLAR AND LUNAR CALENDAR TO ANCIENT MEXICO.

2. The other was Meci, a Mandinga Emperor who entered Meso-America with 8 ships and lots of provisions. He made several trips afterwards.

3. About 800 BC, another group of Africans from Nigeria entered Meso-These men were also Mandinga, but INCLUDED A CASTE OF DWARFISH NEGRO SHAMENS WHO PRACTICED THE RELIGION SIMILAR TO SHANGO AND ORISHA. These Shamen and Mandinga recognized the Venus planetary complex and the Thunder and Lightening God (Shango), called Tlalok by the later Aztecs.

About 600 BC, a large group of people from Nigeria's ancient Nok-Wagadu kingdom arrived in Mexico. Many were part of the Mandinga-Shi (Mandinga-Cush) cultural complex that began in the Sahara over 20,000 years ago, during the 'wet' phase.

The Shamen were dwarves and were masters of sciences and 'magic' used in performing ceremonies. Along with these dwarfish Shamen were also the taller, robust African 'worshippers' of Venus and astronomers, as well as PRIEST OF SHANGO, the God of Thunder and Lightening.

African-American Olmec religion WAS IDENTICAL TO THE RELIGION OF THE YORUBA AND OTHER AFRICANS OF WEST AFRICA. Some paintings from Mexico show religious traditions connected to Egypt as well, especially the 'opening of the mouth' ritual performed on Pharaohs passing to the other world.

The present religion called Orisha or Shango, practiced in the Caribbean, US, Cuba, Mexico, West Africa (about 500 million adherents in Africa, Latin America, Caribbean, US, Europe -- ARE THE SAME RELIGION THAT THE ANCIENT AFRO-OLMECS PRACTICED. In fact, the use of the axe in the religion of Shango -- and the recognition of dolls to represent human forms -- was common in the religion of the African-Olmecs. The African-Olmecs also recognized the Venus Planetary Complex. Today in West Africa, the Ono, Bambara and other ethnic groups who once lived in the Aquatic Civilization of the Sahara and used reed, sewn-plank and dug-out, as well as rafts to travel from place to place -- and to the Americas -- they also recognize the Venus Planetary Complex.

This is a face of an African-American Olmec youth carved on the belt used by the Olmecs to play a game that was later used by the Maya and Aztecs.

The facial features of this child show DISTINCT AFRICAN FEATURES, including the 'almond' shape of eyes which is a very common feature throughout Africa, and particularly in West Africa.

One of the CONFUSING FACTORS ABOUT THE OLMECS IS THAT MANY PEOPLE RECOGNIZE AN 'OLMEC' PEOPLE WHO SHOW 'MONGOLOID' FEATURES.

These Olmecs did exist, but in the region of Vera Cruz from as early as 3113 BC to about 1000 BC, A PURE NEGRO NATION OF WEST AFRICAN ORIGINS EXISTED IN MESO-AMERICA AND WAS CONCENTRATED IN THE SOUTH OF MEXICO.

The Afro-Olmecs contributed to the creation of what became a distinct African Negro culture for over 3,500 years. About 1000 BC, carvings and other artefacts show a mixed Mongoloid type people among a strong Negro/Black African group and later the Maya (who appear very much to be a mixture of ancient Negro and Mongoloid people) became prominent.

In fact, many ancient Maya sculpture of ancient times (500 BC to 500 AD) show distinct Mongoloid features. Yet others since 1000 BC to the present show Africoid features.
