The present-day relationship between China and Africa seems to be a good one. There is a high level of trade and commerce between Africa and China at the present. Chinese firms and companies are in various parts of Africa and African businessmen and industrialists are part of the Chinese economy today. One is just as likely to find an African cell-phone manufacturing exective of Nigrian background in China today, as one is likely to find a Chinese head of a Chinese company in an African nation.
This type of reliationship has been going on since the 1970's when many nations did not trade with China or buy Chinese products, or invested in China. In fact, African music ( the very melodious West African 'high life,' and East African guitar music was popular in China from the 1960's, when many other forms of ouside culture was not allowed into China.
AFRICA'S ANCIENT HISTORY OF TRADE AND COMMERCE WITH CHINA
This trade, commercial activity between Africa and China/Melanesia goes back over 10,000 years. In fact, the first people (modern-type) humans to settle in China were Africans related to the Bantu, East Africans and the Kong-San (whose faces - and that of many Africans in very hot and very cold parts of Africa, are identical to the faces of many 'Mongoloid' people).
Evidence actually show that an ancient sea traffic between East Africa and Melanesia led to the introduction of bananas into East Africa by Black Africans and Melanesians who traded with each other about 5,000 BC (see the magazine, "ARCHEOLOGY."
As for China, Black culture in China was established over 50,000 years ago by Africans. The descendents of these prehistoric Africans who resembled the Kong-San Bushman and the Bantu are still found in SE Asia, India, Melanesia and the remote, hilly regions of the Philipines and the region.
Yet, THE HISTORY OF BLACKS IN CHINA IS ONE OF THE SAD HISTORIES THAT MUST BE REMEMBERED.
While it is very difficult to find any 'aboriginal' group of Negroids in China itself -- people like the Austronesians, Negritoes and many 'yellow' and brown-skinned Chinese who show Negroid features are the DESCENDANTS OF THE ANCIENT AFRICOIDS WHO LIVED IN CHINA BEFORE THE MIXUTE OF THESE NEGROIDS WITH NORTHERN 'CROMAGNONS' FROM RUSSIA TO CREATE THE NORTHERN CHINESE LIGHT-SKINNED PEOPLE.
Two strong and important African genes are found in the Chinese today. They are the cDe gene and the M gene. The cDe is found in a curve from Southern/Central Africa, through Eastern Africa, northward to Egpt, then to Pakistan, India, SE Asia, Southern China, north to Siberia and into the Americas.
The 'M' gene is found in Congo and goes westward into West Africa then into Northern Africa, the Levant (between Sinai to Turkey) and east from Turkey into Central and Northern China.
When one looks at the religious beliefs of the world's 2,000,000,000 (two billion) people who follow religions of the Judeo origins (which originally came from Africa via Khemet (Egypt), one sees that the legends about the Noah's Four sons, Ham, Shem, Mizr, Punt -- PLACES THE CHINESE, ALL MONGOLOID PEOPLE INCLUDING AMERICAN INDIANS, ALL NEGRITO PEOPLE, SOME INDO-NEGROID AND NEGRO-AUSTRALOID PEOPLE IN THE LINEAGE OF CANAAN.
Canaan (or Chan-Han) had two sons: They were Sin (of the Southern Chinese) and Heth (as in Hittite) of the Northern Chinese, both came from the Black Canaan.
So, even if Blacks had never seen any Mongoloid people before -- or they had been isolated from the Mongoloid people of East Asia for 6 thousand years before the present (WHICH IS NOT THE CASE) -- THE CHRISTIAN BELIEF IS THAT THE CHINESE AND OTHER MONGOLOID PEOPLE ARE RELATED GENETICALLY TO AFRICOID PEOPLE, AND THOSE IN THE NORTHERN PART OF CHINA ARE A MIXTURE OF RUSSIAN CAUCASIAN AND MONGOLOIDS FROM THE SOUTH.

THE ANCIENT BLACK KINGDOMS OF CHINA
According to many historical sources, THE FIRST TWO DYNASTIES OF CHINA WERE NEGRO AND 'YELLOW' MONGOL.
These DYNASTIES WERE THE 'XIA' AND THE 'SHANG.' (Shango, being the term for the Thundre God in Orisha religion)
According to some writers, the Shang were 'Dimunitive Negroes' similar to some of the Black Negroid people found in SE Asia, Melanesia, Thailand, Vietnam, Philipines today. The Shang are said to have been a mixture of Negroes and Southern 'yellow' Chinese. At that time in China, the South, West and South-East was occupied by Black Negroid people. The Shang Dynasty and many of the original Blacks of Southern and South-East China were displaced by two factors: The first was major flooding of Southern and Eastern China due to a warming period that occurred about 1000 BC. The First was the invasion of Southern and Eastern China by the Chou and later the Qin armies from the North.
The Blacks of China remained a strong population in China as recently as the 400 AD. Various groups of Black/Negroid people and Indo-Negroids (from India) also had kingdoms in Thailand, Siam, Angkhor, Funan, Cham (cham as in Khambujesa) refers to the ancient king who founded the Cambodia kingdom, (see, "African Presence in Early Asia," by I. Van Sertima, Runoko Rashidi; Transaction Publishers).
ANCIENT TRADE AND COMMERCE BETWEEN CHINA, JAPAN, EAST ASIA WITH AFRICA
Apart from the first people in East Asia being Negro, Negro-Australoid and Negrito -- THE ORIGINAL LANGUAGES OF CHINA, JAPAN, INDIA, MELANESIA -- ALSO ARE OF AFRICAN ROOTS.
For example, the languages of southern China, Philipines show strong African forms FOUND IN WEST AND CENTRAL AFRICA. Japanese show African suffix and prefix characcteristics FOUND IN EAST AFRICA. The languages of the Melanesians how the strong African prefix and suffix forms as well.

TODAY'S CHINA AND THE ECONOMIC BOOM
Today's China is not the China of the 1960's and before. Therefore, Pan-African people MUST RECOGNIZE THE REALITIES OF TODAY. Trade, relationships and commerce CANNOT BE IN THE SAME FORM THAT WAS USED BY THE EUROPEANS. Africans cannot allow themselves to be TRICKED by the same people who colonized Africa in the past --- THIS TIME, ONLY DOING THE SAME THROUGH OTHER MEANS.
This example is seen in the way that the Middle Easterners were used to CRUSH AFRICAN CHRISTIANITY AND SPREAD SEMITE CULTURE AND RELIGION IN AFRICA, WHEN THE ROMANS WERE NOT ABLE TO DO SO -- THEY USED THE MIDDLE EASTERNERS.
Finally, Pan-Africans must FACE CHINA ON AN EQUAL LEVEL -- THAT TAKES THE BUILDING OF A NEW MENTALITY ON THE PART OF AFRICANS -- AS CONTRIBUTORS AND CREATORS, AND NOT AS BEGGERS.
Africa's GREAT FOUR (Khemet (Egypt), Nubia-Cush (Sudan), Negau-Punt (Swahili Coasts), Wagadu-Nok(West Africa) WERE ALL GREAT CIVILIZATIONS WHO EXISTED BETWEEN 8000 B.C. to the 1800's A.D. They were also great inventors, great intellectuals, great builders, great seafarers and merchants -- JUST AS THE CHINESE WERE DURING THEIR PERIOD OF CIVILIZATION.
